Increased settlement

The consumer did not agree with the total loss automobile valuation, arguing that it failed to adequately account for the vehicle's exceptionally low mileage. Upon reviewing the evaluation, we confirmed that no adjustment had been made to reflect the vehicle's low kilometres. We subsequently contacted the insurer to raise this concern. After further review, the insurer acknowledged the oversight and agreed to reassess the valuation and make an appropriate adjustment to reflect the vehicle's low mileage, resulting in an increased settlement value.
