Experience letter issued

While shopping for insurance, the consumer was advised that an insurance experience letter from their previous insurer was required. An insurance experience letter is a document issued by an insurance company that summarizes a client's insurance history, including coverage details and claims experience. This document is often used by prospective insurers when assessing risk and determining eligibility or premium rates.

The consumer contacted their previous insurer to obtain the experience letter; however, the insurer repeatedly refused to provide the document. As a result, the consumer was unable to proceed with securing new insurance coverage.

Following our intervention, we contacted the insurer and addressed the consumer's concerns. As a result of our efforts, the insurer provided the requested insurance experience letter, enabling the consumer to continue the insurance application process.
